" The Details View control is not limited to exposing its data to users in an appropriate and friendly way.The control also provides interactive buttons to navigate data and edit and insert new records. The default set of data fields includes templated, image checkboxes, and hyperlink fields. For more information on the Details View control, see "Getting Under the Detail Views Control.Once that task is completed, it raises the Mode Changed event (to indicate that it's done) (optionally do something here). How could you consume the events if they don't get raised.I'm going to guess at it, that they don't get raised initially because of nothing to do, just perform the changing of the mode.

A common way to use these collections is to HTML-encode the values supplied by the user before they are stored in the data source. For more information about handling events, see NIB: Consuming Events.
I've found an answer in other forum, and though I didn't find the code of Form View, I've found a Details View implementation and I think in this case it might be similar.
I should also point out that I know the difference between a metaphor and simile in case that was bothering you from the opening sentence.
